In the second moon of this year Tang Lo Sau

came and said that No.1 wanted more money.

I agreed to increase the payment to 90 cents

a day, and after that I paid 90 cents up to the day that the

gambling house was closed (the 18th.of June).

The entry of No.1. 7. # is made under the

heading "Picked up at the mat (i. e. paid at the gambling

table).

The 70 cents a way was paiu to Tang Lo Saú a

No.3 East Street, the money was sent across every day from

the gambling house to No.3 East Street and I used to keep

it them and pay it every five days to Tang Lo Sal.

The paper produced is one of the daily ac-

count slips used at the gambling house.

The entry on it "Sam 90 cents* refers to the

increased payment commenced in the 2nu.moon for No.1.

Tang Lo Sam asked me to put it under the

"Sam" in case of any seizure at the gambling house lest

the No.1 should be discovered.
